The FoodAg 2026 app is the official mobile app of FoodAg 2026, the international food and agriculture exhibition organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) at the Expo Centre Karachi from 23 to 26 November 2026. The app is published by Asghar Ali Shah (Lumina Labs), App Developer, with TDAP’s authorisation. This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
Information you can use without an account
Visitors can browse exhibitors, hall plans, the programme, the venue and other event information without signing in. This information is built into the app. The app does not ask visitors for any personal information.
Information used when you sign in
Foreign buyers, exhibitors, Pakistan Trade Missions and TDAP staff can sign in with the email address registered on the FoodAg portal (agro.tdap.gov.pk). When you sign in or activate your account, the app sends your email address, your password and, during activation, the code emailed to you, to the TDAP portal over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Once signed in, the app shows and lets you update information that is already held by TDAP for the exhibition:
- Buyers: name, company, country, business category, products of interest, application status and entry badge.
- Exhibitors: company name, contact person, sector and the products you list in the app.
- Pakistan Trade Missions: the confirmed buyers of your station, their travel information and factory visit requests you enter.
- TDAP staff: registration and activation figures.
Changes you make are sent to the TDAP portal so that TDAP can organise the exhibition.
Information kept only on your phone
Saved exhibitors, your personal agenda, the list of stalls you scanned, and your appearance setting are stored on your phone only. They are not sent to anyone. Your sign-in session is stored in your phone’s secure storage.
Camera
The app uses the camera only to scan QR codes on exhibition stalls, and only when you open the scanner. Camera images are processed on your phone to read the code. They are not saved or sent anywhere.
What the app does not do
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or tracking.
- No location tracking. “Open in Maps” opens your phone’s maps app.
- Your information is not sold or shared with third parties. It is used by TDAP only to organise FoodAg 2026.
Links
The app can open websites, such as exhibitor websites, brochures and TDAP’s registration forms. Those websites have their own privacy policies.
Keeping and deleting your information
Information held on the TDAP portal is kept by TDAP for the exhibition. To delete your app account or the information connected to it, email the contact below with the email address you use in the app. Information stored only on your phone is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.
Children
The app is intended for business visitors to a trade exhibition and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
